Do They both get together at the end of Dirty Dancing 2 : Havana Heights? I missed the end.?

The two actually did get together in the movie but in the end she does end up having to go back to America with her family and he stays back in Cuba. The ending was kinda depressing; I would have liked to see the two together in the end and not split up.
