I need tips on my story for a contest! Harry Potter related?

This is actually pretty good for fanfiction. What really stood out to me was the non-cliched imagery. I was confused by the timeline (sometime between the James and Harry years?) and why he seemed to know he was after the sword of Gryffindor at first when he told Snape he didn't know what he was after. So basically watch the continuity, keep up the interesting images, and continue to develop your character.
