Mother duck and her ducklings in my garden, i'm not near water, how can i help? 5 stars for best answer!!!!?

In my garden there is a mother mallard duck with her are 13 ducklings. I called the RSPCA but they said that they don't have the resources to come and help, I have left the hose running for the time being. Not to far away but to far way for the ducks is a lake, i was thinking maybe i should take the mother and ducklings there, but how??? i will rate the best answer 5 stars!!
