Periods after D&C?

had d&c in beginning of feb because of thick uterine lining and period that lasted about two months...got my first post d&c period april 6 and bled for about 9 days (not heavy)...is it normal to be spotting midcycle and ping small pieces of tissue...havent been in for followup yet..scared to go
