Would gently 'tipping' a new electric fire over cause any damage internally?

If some idiot cut the three prong plug off to fit it in a two prong socket, that's why it won't work. The manufacturers knew that some people would insist on trying to kill themselves by ignoring the warnings in the instructions and on the cord, so they made it so it wouldn't turn on if it didn't have a good ground.
