Feeding wise, what tankmates work with a Senegal Bichir?

I have a senegal bichir and he is with a firemouth and gourami, they all get along but i find it difficult to feed the bichir the sinking carnivore pellets without the others getting to it before he does. I've tried it at night and it helps a little bit but once i put a few pellets in there everyone is awake and the same problem happens. So what tankmates would be good for a bichir and not eat his food? If any? or what's a good solution to my problem? Thanks!!
